    • Local anaesthetic is incorporated into the gel, which significantly reduces any discomfort during treatment. We also use ice during the procedure to further reduce discomfort, swelling, and bruising. Downtime after treatment is minimal; most clients are able to return to work quickly. However, it is possible that you may experience bruising, swelling, redness, or tenderness for a week or two following treatment. After your treatment, you will need to follow a set of care instructions to maximise and maintain your results.

    • Not massaging the treated area, as the dermal filler remains malleable for up to two weeks after treatment
    • Avoiding saunas and extreme temperature changes
    • Avoiding vigorous exercise for the first 24 hours
    • Not sleeping face-down on the treated area for the first 24 hours
    • Avoiding makeup for 12 hours
    • Abstaining from alcohol before treatment and for 24 hours afterwards

    Side effects you may experience during the first few days after treatment include bruising, swelling, and discomfort. These should be minimal and resolve quickly.
